Meat Grinder Cylinder

Let's be honest. Buying meat grinder cylinders from a trading company is just throwing your money away. They don't own a single machine. Making a good cylinder is all about the inside spirals. If those internal rifling grooves are rough, the meat jams, gets hot, and spoils. A lot of cheap suppliers use sand casting. Never do that for food gear. Sand casting leaves tiny holes and bubbles inside the metal. You can't wash those out. Old meat gets trapped in there and grows bacteria. We use silica sol casting with medium-temperature wax instead. It costs a bit more to set up, but the inside of the cylinder comes out smooth as glass. No air pockets. No food traps. We pour real Stainless Steel 304, Stainless Steel 316, or hard carbon steel if you are building heavy commercial equipment.

Some people try to machine these cylinders out of a solid block of steel. That is a terrible waste of money. You end up turning 70% of an expensive steel bar into metal shavings on the floor. Our casting process molds the whole cylinder shape and the inside grooves in one shot. We only use our CNC machines at the very end to clean up the tight spots, like the mounting threads and the locking notches where the front ring screws on. You save a massive amount on raw metal and machine hours, and we pass those savings directly to you.

For turnaround times, expect about two months for a regular production batch once we agree on the mold. If you are in a massive rush for an Amazon launch or a holiday rush, tell us. We can usually speed things up to six weeks if you pay the shop a rush fee to work overtime. If you are still testing a new design and don't want to pay for a hard iron mold yet, we can 3D print the wax shapes first. You get a few real metal samples in your hands in just days to test with actual meat, and you can tweak the dimensions before we cut the final metal tooling.
